“Level-Based” Adult Drop-ins:

Level-based sessions are scheduled on a rotational basis. The more participation we have in a level, the more sessions for that level will be offered. When level-based sessions are offered, the level will be listed on the rink calendar. Sessions identified as “open” are not level-based and are open to all skill-levels.

We offer Drop-ins for three levels, A, B & C, described as follows:

  • A-Level: This level would typically include Advanced players and higher-level Intermediate players.
  • B-Level: This level would typically include Intermediate players.
  • C-Level: This level would typically include Novice players and lower-level Intermediate players.

Goalies: Goalie skill-level matters less since goalie participation is more important than goalie skill-level. It is best for goalies to call the rink the day of or the day before the session, so we know how many goalies will be participating.

The descriptions above are general guidelines. The goal is to produce Drop-ins where players at all skill levels feel comfortable, and the games are competitive for all participating. Player appropriateness will be mostly self-policing but if necessary, Mid-South Ice House staff will intervene.
