Memphis Jr. Riverkings

The Memphis Jr. Riverkings are a travel hockey team based out of the Mid South Ice House. Teams participate in the Southern Youth Travel Hockey League and participate in tournaments around the Southeast. The Jr. Riverkings will routinely face teams based out of Huntsville, Birmingham, Nashville, Atlanta and St. Louis. Teams will practice twice a week, play in twenty league games and play three or more tournaments. For our 8U groups, teams will have practices but only participate in tournaments. League weekends will consist of two games on a Saturday afternoon and two games on a Sunday morning. This will allow families to travel on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon and stay at away games for one night. Teams will be selected after tryouts in late April.
